To prove it, they're giving away $100,000 to nonprofits across the globe and they're looking for our help in jumpstarting this new program which they've dubbed the Keen Effect.



All of the details can be found at the link above which gives instructions for to nonprofits that are interested in applying. All of the required criteria are listed as well and include such stipulations as any funded projects must attempt to increase participation in the outdoors and should have clear goals and measurable objectives. Applicants can request $2500 for Tier 1 consideration or $10,000 for Tier 2.



As outdoor enthusiasts Keen is enlisting us to help get the word out to nonprofit that we think are deserving. They can be operating on a local level or on a larger scale, but they should be doing something to engage more of us in the outdoors.
